1981 Yamaha XS650 Custom Chopper

Very nice 1981 Yamaha XS650 Custom Chopper.

The frame was custom modified (by me) and has been stretched 6 inches. The engine is stock (rebuilt in 2001 and has been riden less than a 1000 miles since the rebuild). It has a Boyer Bransden Electronic Ignition and Mikuni Round Slide Carbs.

Other features include: Chrome Coffin Tank & Rear Fender, 8″ over Front-end, 170 rear tire, Forward Controls, a Custom made Chrome Sissy Bar and 8″ risers.

Won 2 First Place Awards

I don’t consider this a show bike but it has won 2 first place awards. The bike has been sitting for several years and needs some carb cleaning and adjustment (the bike starts but doesn’t idles properly). A little cleaning and tuning should do the trick. The chrome and paint are in good shape and all in all, it’s a sharp little scoot!

You could spend oh um, $275,000 building a bike and this 650 would still be cooler.
