$200 in boxes
Here is my 1983 xs 650. I purchased this bike for $200 in boxes, I built the hard tail minus axle plate that I got from TC Bros. I have about $900 into this bike and it gets more attention than the 30,000 dollar HD’s that I park next to hahaha. It dosn’t get much better than that.

man that bike is sick im lovin the pabst sticker pbr for life
I’l second that……sick ride…love it x
this and your wife’s bike are sick examples of xs’s. could you give some more info on what you did to each?
Thanks, On my bike I bought some axle plates off of tc.bros and bent up some tubing i think the bottom rails were 1 1/8 to match the stock tubing size and the top rail is 1″ and i cant remember how much stretch I just put the wheel where I thought it looked good.
it has a standard sportster tank like everone else runs, the air filters are actually of off a jet ski haha. and the electrical box is an old Sir Walter Raleigh tabacco can. the headlight is off of some old car i found it at a swap meet for 10 bucks. the forks, wheels and engine are all stock. Thats all I can think of right now. I have some pics from the build but the quality is pretty crappy.
Again, really nice work. This bike shows alot of class. I was going to use the same kind of bars for my bike; damn they look good.
I am wanting a brown saddle bag like that.
