Is the USA a police state?

” land of the free”… hmmm.

You’ve probably seen old footage of hippies at Woodstock dancing around naked.. Not a big deal. Right? I saw this video of some doped up Naked dude at Coachella getting tasered and the shit kicked out of him for refusing to wear his wizard’s robe.. WTF!!!!! PIGS..

Naked Wizard Tased By Reality from Tracy Anderson on Vimeo.

I know there’s a lot of good cops out there that are just trying to do their job. However, I got mad mistrust and dislike for cops from when I used to get arrested for skateboarding.. Arrested for skateboarding. WTF…

This video deserves to be spread across the www..

Okay, to clear that shit out of your brain I suggest Electrical wizard.

“Put on your robe and wizard hat. RIGHT NOW! ZAP!”

ya, I probably could should have written a better title. the thing is I started watching the vid because it looked funny but after watching it I got super pissed off. the thing is, I’m super patriotic and shit like that makes me mad than shit. “Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.
    Benjamin Franklin ”

Electrical wizard Is nuts!!!! I’d been listening to it for a month straight.

Nice quote. I love when someone says, “Well, it’s a free country.” Totally wrong. We are a nation of laws.

I have a weird perspective on cops. I totally hate the personality type it generally takes to be a cop. I find most cops to be narrow-minded, judgmental, somewhat crooked, and they love to wield their authority like a club.

That said, you couldn’t pay me enough to do that job. People hate them, ridicule them for doing their job, bitch if they don’t show up soon enough or act quickly enough. On top of that, stupid cop shows have made everybody an “expert.”

What most people forget is that cops have just as much fear to deal with as everybody else. Imagine standing in that crowd of people, just trying to do your job, and being sworn at by the whole crowd. You have to worry about how you handle it starting a riot, and you’re trying to get this f@cked up buffoon under control (because public nudity IS against the law) without using excessive force (which they didn’t.) That guy was fighting them the whole way.

So ask yourself, what would YOU do if you were a cop? And don’t say you’d leave the guy alone, because he’s breaking the law and it’s your job to enforce the law. Whether you like it or not, it’s what you do.

Besides, can you really imagine having to deal with idiots like that all the time? Drunk and drugged and acting stupid. With people jeering at you; the same people who would freak out if that guy was bumping hips with them without any clothes on. I couldn’t be a cop, I know if I had to deal with that stupidity on a regular basis I’d just start shooting and screw the cameras.

Myself, I think we’ve traded so many freedoms for security at this point that it doesn’t really matter anymore. The only thing left is to wait for the circle to come full turn to the next revolution.

If you want the cops to stop doing this kind of thing, make public nudity legal. I for one think it should be, as with any victimless crime. The fewer laws we have, the better. But then, I think stupidity should be a capital offense, and the population would be a whole lot smaller… it would certainly solve the whole global warming/energy crisis problem…

Your right Teebs, cops have a tough job. But what gets to me is the decrease in personal freedom. I’ve been to a number of festival type concerts. I went to Ozzfest/xfest a couple years ago in Somerset Wisconsin where 10 thousand people camped out between three campgrounds. The police never even came in the campgrounds. Think about Sturgis. People walk around with their shirts off all the time without getting electric. The dude is just a moron having a good time and the three cops could have easily stuck him in handcuffs and hauled them away but instead they drop kicked him and shocked the shit out of him.

The guy is mentally ill. We used to burn people like this at the stake. As time goes on, we’ll come up with better and better ways to deal with people like this. My idea: throw a net over him (loosely) and wait for an ambulance. The tazer was unnecessary; he was unresponsive to pain anyway and not violent. They really did try to not hurt him and even let him go at one point. In Nazi occupied Poland he would have been clubbed to death. Not handled perfectly, but better than it was 50-60 years ago.

That dude was given the chance to chill. He was on something and had to be treated like that. He overstayed his welcome. I don’t need to see wacks like that when I am out in public. Now a hot chick with a nice rack would be fine. He got what he asked for and more then enough time to conform. Take him out any way needed. I approve.

As far as I’m concerned, he got what he deserved. He was asked several times to put his clothes on; he made the decision not to do so.
The cops were doing their job. Just because you don’t agree with a law doesn’t mean you can disregard it and not expect any consequences. If I was somewhere trying to enjoy a show, I don’t care how messed up I was, I would not want to see some naked guy showing off his medical oddity of a micro penis.

Haha… so funny. I too was arrested for skateboarding. They conveniently found a “no trespassing” sign 25 feet up the building wall where no lights shone on to be able to steal my freedom for two days.

My attitude about the police? Fuck them. Never once helped me get stolen belongings returned, never once did a damned thing for me other than take… take my freedom, take my good name on bullshit charges.

Oh wait, never mind. They have been very giving. They have given me more speeding tickets than I can remember. Even given them to me when I know for a fact I was going at or under the posted limit.

Maybe it was my attitude at the time of being stopped. Maybe my “fuck you” attitude showed through my poorly constructed “yes sir, fuck me again please” veil.

Fuck cops (my sole opinion). My thoughts expressed here are mine and mine alone, and do not reflect the owner of this fine website’s opinions.

Oh yeah, since we are sharing music, enjoy some Clutch…. my favorite band:

Those cops were way patient. If you look at the vid they they spent almost three minutes trying to reason wth the guy and get him to put his cothes back on. Probibly even longer sine the video started after the whole thing began. Even after he started touching the cops, patting the one cop on the shoulder several times, big NO NO with cops on my area. They tried to get him into handcuffs but if you watch the vid he grabs the one cops balls when he is down on the ground. All bets were off then….
Like any professiion there are good cops and bad cops….its unfortunate that you only see vid of the bad. I have never seen a vid of a cop running into a burning building to save a kid or jumping into a frozen to save some dumb ass who was out on the ice, but I know it happens because I have seen the story will be buried on the 16th page of the local paper.

    Just a thought….

As much as I hate some cops, they were there to do a job and they were doing it…the guy was CLEARLY fucked up beyond comprehension, it took THAT much of a taser to put him down. They warned him repeatedly to put his clothes on and then took it to the next level. Would you want that guy standing next to you in the crowd, rubbin his shit all over people? Thats why we wear clothes…..gimme a break people, its not about freedom of speech, its about having order in a society of hundreds of millions of people. You cant just let jackasses run around doing anything they want. If this guy didnt want the attention or wasnt fucked up, then he could have easily did his thing without harming himself or anyone else….AT HOME!!
