Aka the TacoChaser

Write about your XS650.: I built this bike the winter of 02/03. I wasn’t even into motorcycles, but a friend was going to give a stock frame, fork and wheels to build a chop out of so we could ride motorcylces the next summer. 18 pack later I had 4in stretch, 4in dropped one off hardtail. I built it from my basic knowledge of cars and hatred of mundane. I wasn’t trying to make rat-rod, its was just easier for me to fabricate something from the scrap bin, than wait for parts I couldn’t get from the junk shop around the corner. There are NO ebay or craigslist bit in this bike.

Just great and the pics are great for sure!!!
What I really like is the fact you use 18 inch highshoulder rims for both wheels, with those Firestones it worked out SUPER.

I’ve seen this bike rip up Seattle for years now…sunny, rainy, and even one miserable winter day when it was shitting snow.
