Old dirty bastard

noid old dirty side Old dirty bastard

This rusty heap is the best 1100 bucks I have ever spent.

Write about your XS650.:  First off let me pay respect to Grave Robber Customs.  With out Frank I would not have gotten this thing together.  This is a 79xs special.  I bought it in deltona for 600 bucks.  This is my first bike so I just figured that if it ran all was well.  Nope.  I bought an AMC voltage regulater and used Pamco Pete’s 6dollar rectifier.  New alt/stater.

Hand built battery box, and seatpan.  I also built my own forward controls and wiring harness.  I also bought and LED 31 ford tailight and hand built the bracket for it and the plate.  I have both front and back discs. This thing is grimey, loud and perfect.  Haven’t decided on paint or not.

I kinda like the patina.  This rusty heap is the best 1100 bucks I have ever spent. Every shiny harley rider where I work hates me.

No wonder they hate you. Those things are everywhere. Everything out there now is either a harley, a crotch rocket, or something that looks like a harley. We’ve got “NOT HARLEYs”. Shiny or rusty (ours), Xs650s are the envy of the motorcycle world. Ride long and hard.

Brother, I wouldn’t f*ck with it. Let her rust, or lay some flat clear down. It has character in spades as it sits, and you have it all together and running.

Besides, she has that sweet blingy fender, she doesn’t need paint.

    Nice scoot.

Love the way the front end looks with that headlight and bar combo. I love it as is with ONE exception. You need to remount that rear fender with less gap so it doesn’t look like an afterthought. that would bring it all together perfectly.
