First Build going great

Bought bike with extended frame already in place first mistake. Had to re-weld everything, Brakes were barley working had to fabricate mechanical brake system, Exhaust system fabricated, forward controls & linkage fabricated, Seat mount fabricated, Bike re-wired, Wheels powered coated & re-spoke, Kick stand, & rear fender installed, Headlight installed, handle bars installed, battery box almost done.
I have almost $1,500 in the project so far not bad. The bike will have carburetor’s, & valves set soon, & the frame, tank, & rear fender will be painted gloss black. I can’t wait to get out on the road and open her up.

I think it looks pretty sweet with the gray primer, raw tank and goldflake seat. Paint the lowers and frame that gray, clearcoat the tank, and it would be beautiful. Maybe a goldflake accent panel with gray outline on the tank.
Looks good wish I could see it on the floor but the stance so far looks great
Headlight looks like S-A-I-N-T # 5 from “Short circuit”, hehe
i agree with pg. that gray color looks awesome. with that fender and tire it almost looks like 40’s military or somethin. but that headlight almost looks too new for the bike. other than that looks like a tough little peeler
oh and sweet hotwheels collection. dont let those weldin and grindin sparks get to em tho. those things are worth some $ nowadays i hear
Heya mate, if you drop your seat back (more toward the rear) and down a bit you will get rid of that bunched up look that a lot of xs builders seem to leave in there build, it give the illusion of a bit more length in the finished product.
Cheers.
