The rush is on!

While back I put up some pics of my 77 xs650. Since it is finally getting warm up here I got to do some work on it over the weekend. I sanded down my gas tank to start getting it ready for paint(hugger orange). I am using a 68 shovel gas tank. I made my seat.

I used a old weight bench pad I had. I think it cam out pretty good. I finish up one of the headers. All I did was cut the stock pipe off added a adapter and a turn down pipe should have it all welded up by the weekend. Gong to wrap the exhaust also.

My plan for this weekend is to get it back to a roller. waiting on some parts from the powder coater. So far H ave about 500 bucks into the bike and that is with the purchase.
