75 Street Tracker Tribute Bike

Write about your XS650.: This is my 1975 XS that I rescued from my brothers barn. It had been sitting since 1989 and when gas price’s started going through the roof two years ago I said how about you let me fix that bike so I can ride it and save on gas money.

Well then I descovered the 650XS world and next thing you know I was building a street tracker over the winter. The bike is so much fun to ride and was cheap enough to build. I made most of the parts myself, it helps to work in a steel fab shop. One draw back was the past summer a cop pulled me over thinking that it was a race bike and not street legal. Nope, he was wrong.

Well now I have the bugg and are looking for another 650 to build, a brat bobber this time. Looking foward to more fun in the sun this year and oh yeah, still saving on gas too.

I think the headlight looks out of place and wrong all together. Maybe a rectangle headlight or something.
