isPermaLink="false">http://www.xs650chopper.com/?p=7789#comment-8637

Rich...- I think that is a hell of a useful idea...- I hope it works out for you...I just got my new Hobart AC/DC Stickmate, and got my 220 wired into my shop...(I have been welding since I was 11 years old) - But back in winter I ordered a frame from you...- because I didnt have my welder at the time...- The FedEx Guy pulled up and walked into my shop carrying the frame you welded up with the TC Bros Hardtail...- It was really cool to just take the wrapper off and put the forks on and the wheels and tires, and TC Bros Fender, and TC bros tank...and a cool seat off ebay....- It was damn fun...- and nothing to dread or put off...- Just Pure Fun...
There are a hell of a lot of ways to enjoy working on a motorcycle...- I have my welder now, - so I am going to rake the frame you sent me...- but the point I am trying to make...-is that there can be various reasons to let someone else do the cutting and the clamping and the welding...
Not the least of which is that putting together a neat little RGrant/TC Bros Chopper can be PURE FUN!!!!...- Not to mention that the sportster tank and 6"flat fender and good old soloseat...-and a ridged frame - is the essential standard chopper design that has evolved Tried and True...over 60 years of busted knuckles, bad ideas and shit that dont work...so in a way you have to say it is the Perfected Chopper, - Tried and True...
And there is still plenty that can make it challenging enough..- for instance you can drop the motor on your foot at three am...- also - I sometimes greatly enjoy working DRUNK..- and that can certainly add a demention...(SO????- I like to drink beer and Work on a Bike...)...(My point is, there are A LOT OF WAYS to LOVE MOTORCYCLES...)
I think buying one of your rough unfinnished choppers would be like finding a realy cool bike in a barn under a tarp...and saying "SHIT!!!- I'LL FIX IT UP!!!!" There is still plenty plenty to do...- like pollishing aluminum, and sanding and doing a real paint job...-taking off old tires and putting on new ones is plenty to fight with...there are a lot of ways to love building a bike...- and you furnishing a customer everything he needs to start off ass deep for only 2800 is a hell of a GOOD WAY for plenty of people to graduate from the "Thinkin About Buildin A Chopper" To "Doin It For Real"...
I think you have a damn cool idea..- a good one...- altho prolly confusing to some folks...- give them some time to think about it, - and let it sink in....-let's face it, - it is a one of a kind sort of factory....-Keep On Keepin On...- ^5!!!!!

Rich…- I think that is a hell of a useful idea…- I hope it works out for you…I just got my new Hobart AC/DC Stickmate, and got my 220 wired into my shop…(I have been welding since I was 11 years old) – But back in winter I ordered a frame from you…- because I didnt have my welder at the time…- The FedEx Guy pulled up and walked into my shop carrying the frame you welded up with the TC Bros Hardtail…- It was really cool to just take the wrapper off and put the forks on and the wheels and tires, and TC Bros Fender, and TC bros tank…and a cool seat off ebay….- It was damn fun…- and nothing to dread or put off…- Just Pure Fun…<br
