I can’t get over how crazy cool those wheels look all blacked-out like that. It’s going to look so insane.. The tank, the bars and the kickstand……….. everything looks so sweet, shit.. I am getting geeked out on this bike..
I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THIS THING DONE!!!!! THIS IS MY FAVORITE XS650 ON THIS SITE. IVE BEEN WONDERING ABOUT THIS BIKE
Awestruck!!!!…..I take it you are a machinist by trade, – or else you pawned your soul to a machinist…-immaculate designwork!!!!
Inspection covers and exhaust flanges change whole look of upper half, and drag-bike fuel injectors (???)…BADDASS!!!!!
Pedal assemblies, pegs and linkage…-Incredable!!!
Showstopper!!!…….Beautiful….(!!!!!)
Damn cool wheels, and I think best looking headlight I have seen yet…-like the way it sets into tripletree…
Holy fu#@ng shit! That is simply sick! Can’t wait to see more.
WOW. SIC. Nuff said.
Thanks guys. All the rocker covers will be turned to have the same profile as the oil cooler deal. The fake oil tank is cut the same way along with the axle covers. The mechanical fuel pump will be mounted in the cam cover. I’m always looking to do something different…the more you look it’s just about all been done.
up until about 5 minutes ago i was stoked on my xs, still am, but giving you props, great job, very clean. what is that narrow front end off? justramon@sbcglobal.net
I have seen a lot of XS’s but this has got me stunned.
Never seen such a cleaned up motor.
How did you manage to get every thing so cleaned up between the cooling fins ?
Kudos on this work !
Absolutely amazing…cannot wait to see this bike done! Insane work man.
That’s the nicest engine I’ve seen on the site … so clean .. very sweet
Rediculucious.
Freaking engine looks sick!
Very fucking nice. Have been wondering when an update was coming. What’s with the reverse brake lever? I find the concept very interesting but don’t know how functional it will be.
awsome job. almost looXS like a auto-cad drawing!!!!
In this stadium they´re best looking, it´s always a pity to install cables, licenseplate and that sort of stuff.
Try to hide the rest!!!!!! xsept for the sadlle….
by the way, that invader style wheels is super!!!
I saw this bike over at “another” forum site where they were doing a build off, and I saw the crap they gave you cause they thought everything was off the shelf… PHUQ those grumpy old geezers!!! I don’t care if you got this bike from a cracker jack box. This bike is absolute tits!
Thanks guys. The wheels are actually Invaders. There won’t be any wiring exposed and the throttle will be internal and ran thru the frame. There will be allot of stainless hard lines for the injection so hopefully it stays simple.

very nice work there. i like everything about the bike. aardcore makes damn nice frames. the rear brake work is interesting and clean too. yep a lot to like with your bike.
wow!totally crazy! what kind of injection is that? and howd u get the block so nice lookin? SICK!
its not hater proof. i hate it cuz its fuckin perfect. good job for sure!!
great bike!!
The injection is MRD jetski fuel injection. It hasn’t been made for quite some time. Many hours of sanding went into the cylinder and top case. Two fins were removed from the bottom of the cylinder and the head fins contoured to the cylinder. I’m only about half done with the block…allot of sanding left.
So you have yet to say who’s making all your parts. Are you doing it or a friend or? Or just paying a local shop?
If I was paying someone would it matter? Which parts are you talking about? I have parts from Todd’s Cycle, Westbury Cycle, Joker Machine, Mullins Chaindrive and Invader Wheels. Most of the parts that I can’t buy I’m having water jetted. A friend is doing the tig welding for me since I can’t tig weld. He is also doing machining for me since I don’t own a mill or lathe. Are you what they call a “Troll”.
I’m not sure what you mean by “troll” ? But I’m guessing I’m not? I was just curious because I have never seen your motor parts that looked machined such as exhaust flanges and valve covers. I was very impressed by the quality. Your arrogance how ever has made it not that impressive. If you mean by troll that I want to copy your bike you are wrong . No it wouldn’t matter if you were paying someone.
Sorry if I came off as arrogant but I just went thru 20 pages of BS on another forum and quit their “build off” because of a post that started with a post like yours. A guy was accusing me of having the bike built and “paying a local shop”. I apologize for taking your comments that way if they were’nt meant that way. A “troll” is someone that is “trolling” for trouble…trying to start trouble.
That’s all the more reason to stay in it and win the build off to piss them off even more. I just opened up the new horse, there pro build off was I used this guys bars this guys battery tray this guys such n such. So what does it matter what they think. My bike I am building now I am trying to my everything I can. I wish I would have made my hardtail but I didn’t everything else is pretty much hand made and I can’t wait to get it mocked up and up on this site! Keep building and if its not to late GET BACK IN THE BUILD OFF!
This bike is 100% pure awesome! and its not even finished yet! I absolutely love those wheels. Great job!
man i love this bike, so clean and so simple.
very impressive. Have you considered a top motor mount? I have the same frame, and I put a mount on it. It made a difference. Wanna sell some parts?Did you make any extras? (Angi’s xs650).
Are you worried about that motor getting to hot. I only ask because I know that aluminum is poris for a reason. I’m not bashing. Just curious.
I’m am worried about the upper mount. I’m sure it would be better but would kill the look for me. As far as the cooling deal, I agree with you but I’m a fair weather rider and hope it’ll be ok. I’ve looked into having the head covers cnc cut but don’t know how many sets would sell. Seems like “billet” is for “posers”…that’s what I hear on the other sites
that bike is so friggin clean…..you could wear a white suit with tails…..and still not get dirty…..
cool ride.
christ, now you have to build a bike yourself from scratch just to ride it? i guess i would have to carve mine outta wood. good thing o.c.c. didnt hear bout that use yer own parts thing……there goes their millions! ha ha
I cant get enough of this bike. Its amazing. Keep up the good work. I cant wait to see it finished
I love how clean and simple this is. Amodern interpretation of a classic..freaking awesome. I spent over 400 hours hand making all my own parts on my build and it pisses me off to hear “where’d you buy that?” Don’t let the skeptics and unimaginative blow your cool. The bike speaks for itself..you’ve got vision!
Love it man! This one is going to win some awards if you show it…
Nice build.. Wish I had the patience. Been putting the parts together and am aboout to start building the frame. So.. How abouts we have a super friendly build off just between us and any on else who wants to join in on the west coast? You’re local enough, (661) to set up a photo shoot when its done, and let the readers here decide the winner? (gonna be you ya bastard but don’t mind loosing to such a perfect work of art…)
What do you think?
Shotcaller- I know Reeb meant well, – as did I when I asked if you had pawned your soul to a machinist…-it is not that it matters if you paid a machine shop (Not in my book it doesnt ) – what it is , – is that the work of SOME GIFTED MACHINIST jumps out of the photos…
As WELL as the work of the GIFTED DESIGNER….
That motor is so immaculate that it has a Surreal Look…- and
Custom Machine-Work comes Immediately To Mind…- followed by dollar-signs…….The whole bike has a Surreal Look, and a VERY EXPENSIVE look…- but it looks like a Lot Of Money all WELL SPENT…-There is a difference…- a hell of a BIG DIFFERENCE…
You have posted the pictures to be looked at and seen clearly…- For guys who cannot understand what they are SEEING when they are LOOKING at it…-there is really nothing you can do about those guys…- …………………………I would like to strangle them to death…- but that’s against the law….
Amazing build. Is it going to be a show bike or a daily driver? That’s what makes a bike a bike. Anyways, it’s the best looking bike on the site..
is that a custom rear fender or did you buy that? i have been looking for something similar with no luck…
AWESOME BIKE!
Where is the stupid ass update on this bike………?
I’m with you on that JET36.
Give us some details. Whats the rake, and how much did you lower the fork. More pics also.
xs of the year IMO.
as i stare at your bike in a drunken stupor i notice that the rear brake controls operate with the heel. whats up with that? ive never seen anything like that before.
Love the bike and wish it was mine. Why those handlebars? With the overall theme the case covers would look better unpainted with the same attention you’ve paid the rest of the motor and with Yamaha highlighted Black. IMHO. Whatever you do it is the BADDEST XS650 I’VE SEEN.
looking good B……gerry and myself are gonna be working on a couple of xs here shortly.
the tech misses you………..lol….Rick
I KEEP COMING BACK TO SEE THIS BIKE !!!
Any pics of the finished product?
Dude! The suspense is killing me, where are some updated pics!
Is that a Folger’s can? LOL. All the billet parts make the bike look sterile. I guess I’ll have to wait and see how it turns out.
WE NEED STATUS REPORT
IMHO, this is still a “TOP 10″ bike on this site…
@ fanoboss – It is a Amazing build. I’ve been waiting for a update on this bike for a long time – I don’t have a e-mail address to get a hold of Shotcaller for the update. I hope he does send in some more pictures – I’d like to see the bike finished.
Me too Ted. I want to know how well his carb system will work.
SHIT FUCKIN’ HOWDY. If this was my scoot, I’d keep her in my living room.
John you found one of the baddest bikes on this site and it’s not even completed, LOL
@Ted,
OK, so seventeen months ago, this guy “Shot Caller” teases us with pics of this outlandishly beautiful half-completed work of art. Then he disappears w/o a trace, leaving us hanging. I consider this to be unacceptable behavior and I think you should do something about it. Surely you must know some hacker who can trace this guy to his state of the art machine shop hidden somewhere in the industrialized world. Please, Ted, earn the big money that you must make running this site, and find this guy and give us more pictures. We’re waiting.
Big Money, LOL….what were you thinkin’ ?
“poser”???? “POSER”?!?!?!???!!??? no update… EVER!!! – means you should spell “poser” with an ell………. LLLLLLLLLLLoser!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It appears as that the rear brake is heal actuated. Looks cool but seems like it might be a little awkward until you get used to it. As for the rest of the bike, over the top and literally world class quality work. Please indulge us with more photos. You’ve got a captive audience.
I have to change my comment, this bike is TOP 5
