Thanks guys. All the rocker covers will be turned to have the same profile as the oil cooler deal. The fake oil tank is cut the same way along with the axle covers. The mechanical fuel pump will be mounted in the cam cover. I’m always looking to do something different…the more you look it’s just about all been done.

Thanks guys. The wheels are actually Invaders. There won’t be any wiring exposed and the throttle will be internal and ran thru the frame. There will be allot of stainless hard lines for the injection so hopefully it stays simple.

The injection is MRD jetski fuel injection. It hasn’t been made for quite some time. Many hours of sanding went into the cylinder and top case. Two fins were removed from the bottom of the cylinder and the head fins contoured to the cylinder. I’m only about half done with the block…allot of sanding left.

So you have yet to say who’s making all your parts. Are you doing it or a friend or? Or just paying a local shop?

    June 7th, 2010 at 12:24 pm
  24. Shotcaller said:

If I was paying someone would it matter? Which parts are you talking about? I have parts from Todd’s Cycle, Westbury Cycle, Joker Machine, Mullins Chaindrive and Invader Wheels. Most of the parts that I can’t buy I’m having water jetted. A friend is doing the tig welding for me since I can’t tig weld. He is also doing machining for me since I don’t own a mill or lathe. Are you what they call a “Troll”.

    June 7th, 2010 at 2:05 pm
  25. REEB! said:

I’m not sure what you mean by “troll” ? But I’m guessing I’m not? I was just curious because I have never seen your motor parts that looked machined such as exhaust flanges and valve covers. I was very impressed by the quality. Your arrogance how ever has made it not that impressive. If you mean by troll that I want to copy your bike you are wrong . No it wouldn’t matter if you were paying someone.

    June 8th, 2010 at 1:15 pm
  26. Shotcaller said:

Sorry if I came off as arrogant but I just went thru 20 pages of BS on another forum and quit their “build off” because of a post that started with a post like yours. A guy was accusing me of having the bike built and “paying a local shop”. I apologize for taking your comments that way if they were’nt meant that way. A “troll” is someone that is “trolling” for trouble…trying to start trouble.

    June 8th, 2010 at 2:32 pm
  27. REEB! said:

That’s all the more reason to stay in it and win the build off to piss them off even more. I just opened up the new horse, there pro build off was I used this guys bars this guys battery tray this guys such n such. So what does it matter what they think. My bike I am building now I am trying to my everything I can. I wish I would have made my hardtail but I didn’t everything else is pretty much hand made and I can’t wait to get it mocked up and up on this site! Keep building and if its not to late GET BACK IN THE BUILD OFF!

Are you worried about that motor getting to hot. I only ask because I know that aluminum is poris for a reason. I’m not bashing. Just curious.

  32. Shotcaller said:

I’m am worried about the upper mount. I’m sure it would be better but would kill the look for me. As far as the cooling deal, I agree with you but I’m a fair weather rider and hope it’ll be ok. I’ve looked into having the head covers cnc cut but don’t know how many sets would sell. Seems like “billet” is for “posers”…that’s what I hear on the other sites :)

Shotcaller- I know Reeb meant well, – as did I when I asked if you had pawned your soul to a machinist…-it is not that it matters if you paid a machine shop (Not in my book it doesnt ) – what it is , – is that the work of SOME GIFTED MACHINIST jumps out of the photos…
As WELL as the work of the GIFTED DESIGNER….
That motor is so immaculate that it has a Surreal Look…- and
Custom Machine-Work comes Immediately To Mind…- followed by dollar-signs…….The whole bike has a Surreal Look, and a VERY EXPENSIVE look…- but it looks like a Lot Of Money all WELL SPENT…-There is a difference…- a hell of a BIG DIFFERENCE…
You have posted the pictures to be looked at and seen clearly…- For guys who cannot understand what they are SEEING when they are LOOKING at it…-there is really nothing you can do about those guys…- …………………………I would like to strangle them to death…- but that’s against the law….

OK, so seventeen months ago, this guy “Shot Caller” teases us with pics of this outlandishly beautiful half-completed work of art. Then he disappears w/o a trace, leaving us hanging. I consider this to be unacceptable behavior and I think you should do something about it. Surely you must know some hacker who can trace this guy to his state of the art machine shop hidden somewhere in the industrialized world. Please, Ted, earn the big money that you must make running this site, and find this guy and give us more pictures. We’re waiting.
