No Talent Required!!!

My 80 XS I’ve been workin on awhile. Nothing special, no real artistry, just BARE bones, reliability, and pure fun ridin. I’ve been in love with these bikes for years like a lot of guys, but mine is finally ridable.
Got a couple more things to clean up like wiring and install a tail light, but I gotta try to be a family man too. So I will ride her like she is for the moment. Thank you XS650chopper.com. and all my XS peeps, especially Mike Morse from 650central.
I’ve seen worse!….did it take much to rig up the seat?…what are ya running for an electrical box?
I like it! If it gets you in the wind who gives a fat rats @$$ how it looks…
I’m kind of digging the seat. Definitely on the rat side but on the cleaner rat side. Congrats on a runner man!

I had looked at doing a tractor seat for my build. Tractor supply has them for about 40-50 bucks . I eventually opted out but I’d always been curious as to how that would turn out.
If I’m not mistaken, Hans (from Holland) used one although he cut his down somewhat around the edges.
Now all you have to do is paint the bike green and yellow and call it a deere.
Bikes looking good, what’d you do for the exhaust?

Thanks for the good comments. The seat is comfy. The rear tire is just a 130 and the exhaust is SS pipes with TPOs and EPOs installed and wrapped.

ummmmmmmm….who’s paulie and what has he built? the only comments i’ve seen from him are negative ones, but i haven’t been checking this site out for a long time. i’m not super big on the seat, but the rest of her looks pretty cool, stickers and all. and building your own bike is all about doing it the way you want and feck anyone else’s opinion
