xs650 Bobber Kick Ass!!!

noid chopper 2010 014 587x440 xs650 Bobber Kick Ass!!!

Here is my first bobber chop project. I bought the bike for 650$ with no spark. The bike needed a shit tone of work. I took it to the shop and started hackin. Cut the back half of the bike off and added the TCbros hardtail kit… Made all the fender brackets and forward controls and started thinking about what handle bars to use…

I had thought of making some sweet bars for a long time but dident know what would look good… so i got the bike almost complete and then it came to me. The bars are made from some steel that i had laying around in the gurage. There a 180 bend then chopped and turned the other direction. I Dident like them at first and was going to throw them out.

But when everyone was asking, where did u buy those handle bars from, I said I Made them!!! and the responces that i got made me keep them. The tank is just a sportster with side detailing. The seat is some seat that i found as a kit on ebay for 30$. All and all this
has been a fun project and only took me 15 Weeks and about 1500$. Whats cool is that everyone walks past all the Harleys and theres a crowd around my 1500$ bobber…SWEEETTTT!!!!\

I’m wondering how the brakes work since it appears that you spray painted the front rotor, and the rear brake rod looks like it is going to bind on the top of the engine side cover.

The rotor was taken off and sand blasted and the break rod does ride on the engine cover on a small UHMW detail. does no harm to the cover.

Nice work on the fender struts. I think the headlight looks high and the brake linkage could use some rethinking… but it’s your bike. Nice work all in all.
