XS 650’S AT MOONEYES 2010…..

My very first column which I did here two years ago, where about the Yokohama Hot Rod & Custom Show 2008. Time flies…. In PART # 12 you read about the Mooneyes 2009 edition. So, for the third time in a row….the 19th Annual Yokohama Custom Show 2010.

And yes, there were a lot of interesting bikes to see at the Pacifico in Yokohama at the 5th of december, besides a lot of customcars there were about 650 bikes at this trendsetting exhibition!

Also a lot of foreign guests like Cole Foster, Jeff Decker and Ian Barry brought their creations to the famous Japanese show. Check this cool vid;

…this great vid also shows the outstanding ’57 Triumph from Mark Drew.
Anyway, of course our beloved XS 650 was to be seen at Mooneyes, here’s a compilation of  the neatest 650 twins.

    Hi Hans, I’ve enjoyed reading your columns for quite some time now and been inspired by your bikes and the bikes that you have posted for us. I would like to know whats going on in Holland and the Netherlands that is continuing to produce the great bikes we see coming out of there. I have been combing the web trying to contact Jan Van Wakeren or people who may know him and his builds. You seems to be in the centre of it all and thought you might be able to help me with getting some information about one of his builds the “Easy Dick”. I want to get information about the car tire and the jackshaft set up. I would really appreciate it if you could help me with any information. Thanks.
