1982. The bike had more of a simple look to it when it was bought and I had to go a different route. Weld-on hard-tail and rear Dunlop whitewall set it off.

 

 

Learning and experimenting with fabrication I bent and welded these bars from the original ones that were on the bike.

 

Custom bent straight pipes and short ended rear fender. The tank was stripped of paint and soaked with vinegar bleach and beer and engraved with a bunch of doodles by yours truly.

 

21″ 60 spoke wheel in the front and some recently installed 34-mm Mikuni carbs. Not very fast but it makes it to the bar down the street.
