Well what can I say, I think he turned out looking pretty nice for my first build. Its a 1979 Yamaha XS650. Its taken 7 months to complete and I wish I wouldn’t have lost my cell phone right before finishing the bike, because it had all my before and after pictures on there. Well [...]

It feels at home in the city for sure. Just finished up my ’73 650.  It took way too long, but it’s running great finally.  The motor is a ’79, had to rebuild the top end and replace pretty much all the charging system.

Ramon- Ok, for the story, it started out with a motor that my friend hector had purchased, a brand new pumped up, big bore 750, electronic ignition,  head work, valves, cam, polished this and polished that, inside and out, mikuni carbs and a bunch of other stuff.
