1975 XS650 Street Tracker
I bought this bike early this summer (2011) didn’t look much like this, I put blood, sweat and “Drool” into this bike and could not be happier to own this one off piece of motorcycle history! About the only thing i didn’t do was the paint, I had that done for me.

Bought the bike as a somewhat customized Special. It’s a 1980 model. Couldn’t decide on street tracker och classic, but went for the latter.
Yamaha XS650 turned Kenny Roberts flat tracker
Yamaha’s XS650 is one of the all time favorites to convert into replica flat trackers. This bike, spotted at the local VME club meet was nicely done. Punched out to 750cc and period correct pipes are what set this bike apart. Uploaded by JonFJ1200 on Jul 15, 2011

I used an old 72′er engine and a ’82 frame. Together they stood for 8 years in the back of my garage, slowly rusting away…
