10 years ago if you wanted to build a custom Yamaha xs650 chopper with a hardtail frame you would’ve had to build it from scratch yourself. Today if you want to build a sick XS you’re in luck. There are a number of companies building parts for the xs650 crowd.

www.ardcorechoppers.com offers a complete hard tail frame for the Yamaha xs650. They also offer a Weld-On Hard Tail XS650DIY kit…  Mothers-little-helper is a sick example of one of Ardcore’s bikes with a complete hardtail frame.

Tcbros choppers

www.tcbroschoppers.com TC Bros Weld-On Hard Tail are designed to use your stock wheel, tire, spacers, and chain adjusters. The 1 1/8″ diameter is also the same as the stock XS650 frame tubing for a very nice looking install that looks like it was factory made! THESE HARDTAILS ARE IN STOCK AND READY TO SHIP! Blue Collar Bobber is a great example of what can be done with one of the TC Bros Weld-On Hard Tail.

GL choppers

GL choppers offers Weld-On Hard Tail that enable you to run larger rear wheels. Their hard tail for the XS650 is able to run rear wheels up to 180/200. “Shop Rat” ( pictured above) is built by Josh of G&L Choppers and is his personal ride.

Elswick cycles

Robert Elswick and his brother Jamie at Elswick cycles in California are building some cool parts for the XS650. They are selling xs650 hardtail kit in any stretch and axle height. They are building them made to order and will take approximately 4 weeks.
