Super Unique xs650 twin/Enfield Bullet For Sale On EBay:

” Enfield Bullet 500 with a Yamaha xs650 twin engine. I bought the bike as it is and realized that I just have too many projects right now. The bike does run (according to the previous owner), although the battery needs charged and the carbs probably need cleaned at this point. The previous owner made up a makeshift shift lever that will need replaced. The bike has good tires and a new battery. Overall, the bike is in nice shape and the engine swap was done well-they used heim ends and did a good job fabricating some custom brackets, the bike just needs to be finished. This would make a really cool bike for someone who wants the vintage look of an Enfield with the power and reliability of a Yamaha.

Love this bike! I was out bid on it on Ebay. I need an other bike like I need a hole in my head, it’s worth a lot more than what it went for. Thought that if I won it, I’d call it my Royal Yamafield.

    Hi Mike,
I bought it, and think it was a good deal–but it’s going to take a lot of work to make it right. I had a new 5.8 gallon tank and toolboxes made in India. They look good, but aren’t the same red, more of a maroon (which is OK, that’s traditional British, too). I’m now cleaning corrosion off the side covers and making a list of all the bits I need, from a new rear fender and seat to a bunch of bits and bobs that are all rusty or corroded. I’ll put a fresh coat of paint on the cylinders, and it should look nice when I’m done. After that I plan on riding it in an all-British bike ride (Indian Enfields are acceptable) to have some fun. Today I pulled the left cover to see what I’ll need to replace the shifter and shaft. And after all is done, new footpegs have to be fabricated. aargh
