south of boston xs done deal!

well it’s been done for about a month and a half & finally have had some decent riding weather around here for the last couple weeks so i’ve gotten to put some miles on it…

By the looks of the plugs i got it tuned pretty decent (after jetting) its very responsive and pulls like an SOB, this thing is a blast to ride! still gotta do the clutch push rod seal & a few adjustments…

Here’s the links to my build threads.

This one came out great! Can’t wait to get mine done and see this thing in person!

  2. shawn says:

thx sean! let me know when your done for sure, lets ride! my brothers bike’s just about done as well…

  3. Barney says:

I like the look of the dirtbike tires with the fork boots. Is the headlight tinted? Did you use linkage for the fender struts?

  4. fanoboss says:

  5. shawn says:

Nope, the headlight isn’t tinted but it does have a louvered grill in it & the rear fender strut is one piece of 3/8’s round stock bent with dimples I drilled into it…thx again!

  6. fanoboss says:

That rear fender goes off the coolness chart.

  8. Russ Archer says:

What hard tail is this ? I like the way it looks ( blends well ) COOL looking bike

  9. shawn says:

thx! a friend of mine dave huntress (tigman) did the hardtail, great guy & does awesome work. honestly think he does one of the best hardtails for these bikes…

  10. Butters says:

How did you pull off a registration without turn signals and markers? I’m south of Boston with a bike stuck in my shed until I rewire for “Ma safety inspection” Mine’s a 78′.

Your bike is pretty sick! Great work..

  11. shawn says:

thx! unfortunately, i do have turn signals just mini leds on the bottom tree and the lower rear frame rail, 3rd pic right near the brake stay…used mini push buttons in the handle bars with a badlands module…get it going, lets ride!
