Xs650 chopper startup walkaround

Just finished her up. working out the bugs. Here’s a quick walk around showing the various lights, and the see through “afterburner” clutch cover.

    Now that’s friggin’ cool but, what about the Yamaha logo? LOL. I can’t wait to see this bike in some light. Some kind of alien predator thing. How did you get the LED in the fuel sight? Gonna have to cough up some info on this one. NICE!

    Hey where can I find some still shots of this thing? It looks really good. I want to know more about the clutch cover and the LED’s in there–is it a dry clutch conversion with a window over it?

    @jungle, Its still a wet clutch, LEDs are UV, and i added UV dye to the oil to make it glow.

    Hey I have to tell you the clutch cover blew me away. Can you post some build info on that one? I am working on an aircleaner/intake box that has a turbocharger type intake opening for looks. I was going to light it but this would be a super compliment to the intake lights. Thanks in advance. Really shows out of the box thinking. Looking forward to your reply. Michael
