Mark’s bobber update#3

I started getting comfortable on the bike and throwing it into corners. I was getting a pretty nasty scrape on the left side so I did a up-pipe system. I bought some 180 mandrel bent tube from the auto parts store (18$ each) and started chopping and welding.

Hope you like it. Oh, and a note to any Newbie builders: get familiar with Loctite products and double nutting things……

Very flashy exhaust and i like the racing stripe on the fender. was thinking about doing the same thing.

  4. fanoboss says:

Those stripes are cool, always reminded me of Mustangs…I don’t know why they don’t remind me of Chevelles or Camaros.

I like the finish on that wrap, sets off the exhaust tips real well. Nice looking hardtail. Did you bend that mirror stem like that?

  6. mark says:

No problem Terry, I was going to epoxy the brass piece on my front brake master reservoir but it looked out of place on my bike.

That mirror is a Yamaha part I got from the local wrecker and I think it’s the stock shape?
