Gold Digger

Jerry – I just what to share a few pics of my 81 X.S, 650. We started with less than a frame and put this together in 2 months. We stretched the backbone front legs and swing arm 2″ each. The sissybar and fender are attached to the swingarm. I cut down an old sporkster tank and DF.L.H front fender to get the sheet metal.

Justin did the killer paint.

  4. Robbo says:

G,day.. Nice build, nothin too outragious I like it alot.. One question, what front end you runnin? In my opinion you got the frame PERFECT it has the cool look of a hardtail with the comfort of the softail..

  5. fanoboss says:

That is a fine contender. Gold can look cheap and crappy. I’m so happy that this XS’er knows the difference and produced a ride that has the guys at Fort Knox scratching their heads.

  6. Russ Archer says:

Ive seen this bike in person and the pictures dont do it justice. It’s one well built good looking ride.

Ooooh… YOU GOT IT GOOD!! She’s a badass candy bitch that will treat you right once you treat her right. Flogging her and abusing the asphalt doesn’t mean that she’ll stop for you when she takes over. Enjoy the ride and she should satisfy every time.

  14. PlugHead says:

This bike is definitely one sick scoot, I love everything about it. Great job.

  15. Joshua says:

That is gold medal chop all day brother,NICE!!!!

  16. Jerry says:

Thanks for the comments. The foot clutch and pipes were both made by Blacksmith Billy on The Chopper Underground. He modified the side cover and I made the linkage to connect the forward controls. The pipes are his Right Side Hi Pipes. The frontend is an aftermarket Wide Glide I traded for.

  17. Morgan says:

Killer scoot! I’m working on one right now, I only hope I can achieve the look you got there! Looks like Everything’s right the color, stance and jockey shift. I’d like to put a jockey on mine. Where’d you get yours?

  26. El Gaucho says:

Another thing I noticed is your attention to detail concerning the sissy bar. I always like to see a sissy bar at the same angle as the forks. Very nice.
