Ted H – Made a cafe out of 2 bikes I had laying around used 72 tank and neck-title and the 79 engine. Used the 79 tank for a bump-stop and sewed a seat cool cafe.

Good to see that you have a classic beauty up and running again. Most everyone here on this site has taken a basket case or a sleeping beauty in a coma and resurrected the dead. Its an accomplishment and joy to finish a project, stand back and glow in the knowledge that she will always be there for you. May I suggest clip ons and shaving a few inches off her front end.

I’d be proud to ride this one,,,, fork gaiters, rear set brake and shifter and a set of clamp on front bars would make it the perfect cafe racer,,,but you might loose some comfort ,,,still, GREAT build…I like it

Great build,,,If you’re like a lot of folks, you ride a while,,make a little change here and there,,ride some more,,,a set of clip on bars and fork boots would put this bike in the winners circle,,,black and chrome is hard to beat,,,cafe style is a good choice
