Spencer – Well this is my first build. I found the XS650 in a barn and bought it from the guy for $500. I cut the rear end off and welded a TC Bros. hard tail on. Lots of copper and brass. Internal clutch and throttle. Had to fab most everything in the spare room of my apartment. Many pieces were copper powdercoated and many have copper paint covering the powdercoat. I aged the copper using Louisiana hot sauce. If you put the sauce on the copper and wipe it off the copper will shine like a new penny but if you leave a thin layer on it will age or “patina” the copper over night.
